Jacobi's International Jam Journey

As someone who doesn't play a particular instrument, I haven't been able to participate in playing music for any specific rituals. However, I have had the opportunity to manage the aux at several parties. Depending on the atmosphere of each function, I would have a specific playlist with a different lineup of songs ready to play. Every party won't have the same people or the same energy, and not only should every track played match the vibe of the room, but it should help to create a flow of consciousness with the last songs played. Every track played can make or break a party's energy, and the momentum created by each song is critical to every social event. Hey, everyone! My name is Jacobi Cherry, and I am a sophomore from Williamsburg, Virginia. I play basketball for Converse, and though I would not refer to myself as a classically trained musician, I do make music with my friends from home who work in music production. My friends and I are finishing our first full-length single, and we have numerous projects planned for the future. Concerning my experience with instruments, I played the ukulele last semester for a course named Music, Your Brain, and Wellness. I love all genres of music, and I especially enjoy music that tests the boundaries of genres and does not particularly fit into one singular genre.
